I'm having trouble with getting this motherboard to work. Has anyone used it? Or could anyone recommend any good resources to compare its suitability for use with other hardware?

Set up is: BN 780, Athlon 1.2gb - currently she refuses to live!

    cheers,

    H

I have a friend who may be able to help you with that. His name is Lord_Gumby and you can find him here.

Perhaps a description of what is not working on it?

    Also - I'd prefer [H]ard|Forum for support.

As Fiber said, some more info would be needed to get to the bottom of this.
Does it POST or give any sort of BIOS beeps? If you do get beeps, how many are there? The amount corresponds to different problems and can help diagnose the problems a lot faster.

Cheers for the forum links guys & gals, I'll check them out 2nite. In answer to micmar, at power on all I get is the processor fan and the led's on the case, both of which run their power off the motherboard. No indication of other activity - no beeps and nothing being sent to the monitor.

    thanks again,

    H

Also, it matters which kind of BIOS you are using. Phoenix? American MEgatrends? The POST beeps are different for each BIOS.
