    Properties of a New Window?

    Im trying to build a web place, but since Im totally inexperienced I have some problems. I have some pages with thumbnails, which are linked to a page that will open in a new window (this is all created in Frontpage 2003). I would like to define the size of this new window and get rid of the bars etc. I know there are many web places that provide a JavaScript that does the trick but I have not managed to get it to work

    This is my code (for the page with the thumbnail):
    <head>
    <meta http-equiv="Content-Language" content="sv">
    <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=windows-1252">
    <title>Sessan</title>
    <script language="JavaScript1.2">
    var ace_path = 'acemenu/';
    </script>
    <script language="JavaScript1.2" src="acemenu/acemenu_loader.js"></script>
    <meta name="Microsoft Theme" content="kennelexess 1011, default">
    </head>

    And under <body>:
    <td valign="top" rowspan="4" width="146">
    <!-- MSCellType="NavBody2" -->
    <p style="text-align: center"><font size="1">Click photo to enlarge</font></p>
    <p style="text-align: center">
    <a target="_blank" title="click to enlarge" href="images/Sessan/sessanpopup.htm">
    <img border="0" src="images/Sessan/Sessan2_small.jpg" xthumbnail-orig-image="images/Sessan/Sessan2.jpg"></a><br>
    <font size="1">&quot;Sessan&quot; at a show<br>
    in Stockholm</font></td>

    As I said, I am new to this, so I need detailed instructions that are easy to understand (also considering English is not my first language). I could also use some tips on how to solve the issue above in the pages containing more than one thumbnail!

    Thanking in advice.

    Best regards,
    Maria

    Try this...

    Try this and see if it helps you get the effect you're looking for:

    Code for main page:

    *********************************************************

    <HTML>
    <HEAD>

    <SCRIPT LANGUAGE="javascript" TYPE="text/javascript">
    <!--

    function openWin()
    {

    window.open('newwindow2.htm','newwindow','height=200,width=200,scrollbars=no,resizable=no,left=0,top=0')

    }

    //-->
    </SCRIPT>

    </HEAD>

    <BODY>

    <A HREF="#" onClick="openWin()">Open New Window</A>

    </BODY>
    </HTML>

    *********************************************************

    Code for Pop-up window:

    ********************************************************

    <HTML>

    <HEAD>
    </HEAD>

    <BODY BGCOLOR="#000000" LINK="#FFFFFF" ALINK="#FFFFFF" VLINK="#FFFFFF">

    <A HREF="javascript:window.close()">Close Window</A>

    </BODY>
    </HTML>

    ********************************************************

    Hope this helps,

    SP
