    Who knows the most languages?

    Hey,

You probably thought I meant computer languages, but I actually mean just general languages(e.g, English, French, Spanish..). By the question, I mean is there any one person in the world that is known to be able to speak the most languages..

Sorry if it's hard to understand what I mean

I know English and Arabic. Used to know Spanish, but forget it when I learned Arabic. I guess there is only so much room in my head. So not too many languages!

British linguist George L. Campbell spoke 44 languages fluently and had a 'working knowledge' of at least 20 others, according to Washington Post.

I speak English and French, im studying Japanese at uni, and im learning Chinese. Once you get used to learning a languge, your capacity to learn new ones is much greater. Im sure there are people out there who can speak 10/15 languages, I knew a lady who spoke 7 languages.

The only way I could get arrested by my knowledge of spanish would probably be running around at 2 AM screaming "como estas"

Impressive. Just curious though; how come you know so many and how did you learn them?

Only speak swedish (can understand and partly speak the related ones, namely danish and norwegian) and english, have touched French and German.

Good work if you know Swedish, since it is one of the hardest languages to learn.
