    How I Hate Lists

    I can't seem to style the damn thing, not to mention the pain induced by just translating a plaintext list to HTML. Ugh.

    All the text in my lists comes up as 12 point Times New Roman when I've specified otherwise in my CSS. I've tried applying the font and whatnot to the li tag by itself, but that doesn't help, either.

    XHTML
    Code:
          <ul>
           <li>Content Management
           <ul>
            <li>Advertisements
            <ul>
             <li>Make {advertisement} (or some derivative) insertable and linked to a random advertisement script
             <ul>
              <li>Allow category to make randomization more specific (ie {advertisement=war})</li>
             </ul></li>
             <li>Alignment tags to align the advertisement to either the left or the right</li>
             <li>Insert specific advertisement (ie {advertisement=123})</li>
            </ul></li>
            <li>Archive
            <ul>
             <li>... by issue</li>
            </ul></li>
            <li>Articles
            <ul>
             <li>Navigate between pages via half-folded page corners
             <ul>
              <li>Bottom right for "Next", bottom left for "Previous" (when applicable)</li>
             </ul></li>

    I would suggest this website. I learned a lot just by going here and looking at code.

    Yes, but the rest of the CSS works fine. It's just the list stuff that's bogged down.
