    Please review my Access database

I have created a fictional database which has forms. I would like you guys to review the database and if possible, make any corrections and provide suggestions as you see fit. thanks.

    errr,

did you just post a database with live data with the names and addresses of real people to the forums?

If I were you, I would remove it immediately. We don't need real data, and you are breaking some UK privacy laws by posting it to the web.

now, why would i want to do that? i don't have xp, so that would be silly, wouldn't it

instead, you need to save your MDB as "previous version"

OK I uploaded the DB as Access 97 format since sagat doesn't want to

    Some questions:

    1) why do you dupliate branch location in the table Bilda (do you mean to call this "builder") ?

    2) The field CustomerTel in Customers shouldn't be a number, should be Text

    3) You use non-standard naming conventions (spaces between words in the name of your query). That's going to be a pain in the @rse really soon. Try using underscores instead.

    4) Your products table is not normalized / or I can't see what its for.

    5) It is kind of conventional to have the primary key as the first field in the table, of course you don't have to...

    6) I don't understand the bilda table and / or its not normalized

thanks. i was going to convert to 97 but maybe i was slow. actually the database is supposed to represent a pos. The bilda table is a combination of all the tables; almost like a master table. As for duplicating the branch location, i am not sure actually. sadly i am not an expert access user. anymore comments/suggestions

Well, it's really difficult to suggest improvements if I don't what you are trying to do.
