Best MySql tools

I am used to using MS SQL and Enterprise manager. I need a nice GUI for entering information into MySql prefferably a client side application.

PHPAdmin is resonable but kind of slow using a web interface. Any suggestions / prefferably free that will allow me to easily construct and enter data into my database?

Do you mean PHPMyAdmin?

It is kind of de rigeur in MySQL circles. I've not seen anything better.
Maybe you never knew how lucky you were with SQL Enterprise Manager.

Nope, at the moment the official tools are for managing the server and constructing/analysing queries

It was possible with Mysql control center but it's no longer supported. However, you can still download and try it.

my favourite is mysql-front (free version), i use it all the time

i've also tried toad for mysql, it's pretty neat too
