    Javascript and the Pocket Internet Explorer

    Hello all!

    I am in the process of trying to get a very simple show / hide script to work on a Pocket PC using Pocket IE. My code works just fine in the big screen browsers, but not on the small screen. Heres the CSS I am using:

    Code:
    <div id="help">
    				<div id="hiddenhelp" class="hidden">
    					 The following is a list of properties in the system. If you wish to edit a property, click the <strong>Edit</strong> link. To place a property in the archive, click the <strong>Archive</strong> link. The archive is used to store previously inspected properties and flag them to be uploaded during the next synchronization routine.
    				</div>

    				<a href="javascript:expandcollapse('hiddenhelp')">[+/-] show/hide help
                </a> </div>
    And here is the Javascript I am using:

    Code:
    function expandcollapse(help) {

       help = document.getElementById("hiddenhelp");

       if (help.className=="shown") {
          help.className="hidden";
       }
       else {
          help.className="shown";
       }
    }
    Maybe there's a way to dumb it down?? Supposedly Pocket IE does support Javascript 1.1.

    Thanks for the help!

    DHTML as you know it is not available in PocketIE. I had to make all my apps pretty much static pages.
