    A really newb question

    Ok, so this question is really simple, and I could probably eventually figure out where I'm going wrong, but honestly I need a quick fix to get my site complete asap.
    So here is my question, or problem rather;

    I can't get my links to properly link to another page. Looking at the code it seems right, so I have no clue what's wrong.

    Here's the code I have

    <tr height="25">
    <td align="center" valign="bottom" class="copyright" style="padding-bottom:2px;" background="../images/footer.gif"> <a href="index.php" class="copyright">
    <?=$sMenuHome?>
    </a> <span style="margin-left:7px;margin-right:7px;" class="copyright">.</span> <a href="<?= $sMenuCompatibleURL ?>" class="copyright">
    <?= $sMenuCompatible ?>
    </a> <span style="margin-left:7px;margin-right:7px;" class="copyright">.</span> <a href="javascript:Bookmark();" class="copyright">
    <?=$sMenuBookmark?>
    </a> <span style="margin-left:7px;margin-right:7px;" class="copyright">.</span> <a href="news.php"> Hip Hop News</a>
    </a> <span style="margin-left:7px;margin-right:7px;" class="copyright">.</span> <a href="artists.php"> Featured Artists</a>
    </a> <span style="margin-left:7px;margin-right:7px;" class="copyright">.</span> <a href="tours.php"> Tour Dates</a>

    the news.php artists links etc will not work
    I have the file for the link in the same folder, so what is wrong?
    Yes, I'm a newb.
    Thanks for any help or info you want to provide
    the link to my site is www.hotringtonez.com

    really?
    wow..
    The site seems to work fine for me, any idea on what this could mean?

    Or are you reffering to the links I'm speaking of?

    No,no. When I try to get to the pages you have problems with. Is that the standard missing file message you are getting?

    Well, yes, except mines will say "Page Not Found"

    But the code is correct right?

    Maybe I'm not calling my menu and what not correctly from my news page(the link that won't work), but if not I think the page would just become blank, not unfound.
    Strange.

    Is news.php in the same directory as this page you're running? If not, you need to specify the correct path.

    What happens when you try to access news.php directly from your browser? Does it work?

    Yes, same directory, and it works when I simply click on it from the ftp.

    When you hover your mouse over the link, does it display correctly in the corner of your browser?

    In a way yes, and no.
    Thank you for that help!
    I forgot that with this site, it's in multiple langauges, so it automatically made the link it was calling www.hotringtonez.com/en/news.php
    en for english
    So I just had to change the document name to /en/news since I don't know how to do it the proper way for the way it is setup. I guess it just won't be accessible for other countries.

    thank you.

    Well, you could have it default to English (or some other language, for that matter) but include a link to the document in other languages.
