    Memory installation RRRGGGGHHHHHH

Okay, I just bought some new memory, a 256 mb DDR PC333 to boost me up to 512 mb. I installed it correctly, and tried in every way I could think, and it still won't work. The computer starts up, but deosn't make any connection with anything else. However, when I take it out and have only the one 256 mb chip in, the computer runs fine. I have no clue what is going on- does anyone have any suggestions?

Are you sure your mother board can handle PC333 ram? Then again... Even if it can't it should still run...

This is where it's nice if you have a dell...

It runs, but doesn't make connection with the monitor, keyboard, etc.

Okay, I just checked- my bios is only giving me the options of 100mhz and 133 mhz for dram speed. I'm assuming it means I should get pc133? Am I right?

double that speed, since its DDR memory (double data rate) so your mobo can handle 266mhz memory which is called PC2100, the PC333 memory you mentioned does not exist, the correct naming is DDR333 or PC2700. Hope this helps!
