    problem with LAN

    hi guys ,
I had this problem before , but i forgot how i got rid of it. 4 comps are in LAN . The main machine which acts as server , and 3 other machines which are shared by a HUB .
All machines are fine having File Sharing . But ther is weird limited internet connection in the client machines. In themain machine full internet connectivity is there .While on the other 3 , i can only open Google.com and even run a Search on it . But when i click on the search result links , page fails to load . Simmilarly when i try to open any other site directly , like Sitepoint.com or Yahoo.com , it shows that it can connect but fails to load the site after that .

What could be the problem here ? I have tried even using Proxy software like Sygate , with same results . Any suggestions ?

are you using any application on them that would only let you visit trusted sites signed on by computer administartors? if yes, set sitepoint like a trusted site and all the sites you want to visit, or actually try removing it completely, if not, what type of connection are you using?

You are probly seeing cached versions of the sites. If you are getting a limited connectivty message that is usually due to no DHCP availablity. Perhaps you don't have Internet Connection Sharing set up properly.
