Just a random poll. Which do you prefer to view? Frames or tables?

My prefrence on designing is using frames but this question is about viewing... Frames can get annoying with the menu's staying there all the time, but they can also create a neat look for the site, depending on how they are done.

There are some good examples of frames out there, but the way you structure your question "Which do you prefer to view? Frames or tables?" implies that all else is equal.

If you are able to do something equally well using either frames or tables, then I would opt for the tables for their ease of navigation, and their accessibility.

    I really don't know

I really don't know, infact what would be easier for a newer Webpage designer to do? I am getting the hang of everything thing else but how to make a proper background.

I'm one of the few here who really like frames - but only if the designer knows what he's/she's doing! They can be tricky things to get right. Having said that, I've seen some table based sites that have been horrendous.

Where viewing is concerned, I'm not too fussed whether the site is in frames or done with a table. As long as the site provides me with the information I've gone there for and I can find it easily, the 'frames or table' thing isn't an issue.

I like both when used to their fullest extent.
