    Hello there,

I currently finished the Flash presentation (text, with animation and lots of tweaking) for one of the company...

I know from experience, and it is a well known fact, the speed of animation depends on CPU power.

I've created this Flash on 1Ghz computer with lotsa memory, and they have 200Mhz computers at office.

Is there any way to test the Flash for CPU power, online of offline?

    Let me know...

    Best Regards,

Yes...you can preview it based on download speed too.

Once you are ready to test the movie, Preview it (using CTRL + Enter). Then at the top, there will be a series of selections in the toolbar. Browse through them and one of the choices will be "test for X connection" there are some other choices there as well.

A trick to simulate lower-powered computers is to start some sort of processor intensive operation such as burning a CD or a Pixelate fitler in Photoshop on a very large file, THEN run your Flash animation. That will give you a fairly decent approximation.

    Thank You,

The connection speed test is fairly good one.

But, turining on some other tasks is not that good. I really wish to have it tested on various CPUs; simulator orsomthing like that.

    Thanks for suggestion,

    Best
