Using DIV to layout page
G'day,
I am converting my web site from tables to lay out the page to using the DIV tag.
The problem I have is this .....
I want 2 columns to start with. This I have done without any problems.
Now I want to revert to a single column and this is where the problem lies. I know I can fix it's position with absolute, but if the page is resized, or a different screen resolution used and the first two columns become longer, they will be overwritten.
To see what I have, look at http://ils.org.au using IE (other browsers don't work properly). To see what I have started to do with the div statement, have a look at http://ils2500.brinkster.net/indexie1.htm
Many thanks in anticipation
Peter
