Documentation - page miniatures

For documentation purposes I would like to be able to miniaturize my site pages.

For example, I'd like to print a sequence of pages on a single sheet of paper.

Is there an easy way to accomplish this?

Can I capture an entire web page (not just what shows in the window) and save it as an image for easy placement in a document?

Adobe Acrobat can capture web pages/sites and save them as PDF files. as for shrinking them down, export the page from acrobat as an eps file this will import into any good vector program or Photoshop (v6 can load PDF files direct I think)

There you go only 600-700 quids worth of software

An easy way to do this would be to create thumbnails of each page using a screen capture program. It would take a bit more time than say Acrobat, but the screen capture program that I use is free so its a great tradeoff.

The Acrobat option sounds good but I don't know how much 600-700 quid is (laughing).

I also downloaded the wingrab utility mentioned in the 2nd response and I'm still playing with it.

I promised to share and so, here goes......

I have found a product that does EXACTLY what I want.

It's called Snagit. Not only does it perform basic captures, it also captures entire web pages, including the part that scrolls off the screen.

I downloaded their trial version and, in five minutes I had captured a lo-o-ong web page, saved it to a graphic file and dropped it into my publishing program where I do my documentation layouts.

Hope this info helps someone else.

You don't need Adobe Acrobat to make PDF files, try something like PDF Creator or Easy PDF, just search for them in google, they're shareware and costs about $30.
