table recommended size limit (rows)

Hi mates,

Say, what is the recommended size for tables in MySql, from the numbers of rows point of view. To be more specific, after how many rows should I consider spliting the table: 100,000? 500,000? Is there a limit at all?

Several million rows is fine if you have your table indexed properly for any columns you are searching on specifically or joining on with another table.
