My problem is
1. I am creating an intro page, it contains a background gradient and in middle its a flash movie. Thatz it.
2. for background I am using a horizontally small(height=760 width=17) gradient GIF image. I would like to stretch that as my background using CSS(I don't want to specify width size for stretching, I want to stretch for X times, so that it will automitaclly adjust according to the browser.)
3. I am using an external CSS.
4. I need coding for both CSS and HTML for background stretching. I don't want to specify width and height in HTML.
5. In center I want to place a flash movie. I tried, but if i use seperate div for background and flash movie, my flash movie appears below the gradient background. I want to place the flash movie exactly in middle of the gradient.
6. Background layout width=1024px height=726px
7. Flash movie width=700px Height=300px

My HTML coding:
<link rel="style sheet"
<div id="image">
<img src="..\Desktop\table\strip.gif">
<object width="700" height="300">
<param name="movie" value="shoe.swf">
<embeded src="shoe.swf" width="700" height="300">
MY CSS coding(bg.css)
div#image {
background-image: url(../table/strip.gif);
background-repeat: repeat-y;
z-index: 0;

Where I am doing wrong? Pls help me with coding!
