Hi,
Can anyone tell me why my password is not asked for when I open up Mysql from command prompt...
That is to say I have a short cut on my desktop that is a to Mysql, so wen the black screen opens up it is already MySQL>
I have a password for user root and user wood1e? so why no request for it?
also having tried MySQL>mysqladmin -u -p status ....In the book it says the staus will appear when I do it, another line appears waiting for me to enter more data...
can anyone help?
