Does anyone know if there is a web service, perhaps hosted by USDA, that keeps a record of calories? I see tons of software programs that have calorie ratings for thousands of foods. Do they just hand input them into a db? Or perhaps there is a db out there that has this already.
This is probably something that needs a web service but I haven't found any for it. The data is changing so often that it may be impossible to keep up with (think of the number of foods).
