    download .exe file

    Why can't I set a link up to download an .exe file? The page is www.faceproject.org and the file is a screensaver. If you click the link it will take you to the folder "download" and the file "strings001.exe" but it says "file not found". The file is definitely there.

    Any suggestions?

    Put it in a zip file or in a sub directory? IIS doesn't seem to be liking it.

    well the sub directory did not work, but the zip file did. I wonder why IIS would not like an exe file?

    Hehe, maybe the virus issue. A lot are plain old executables.
