Dual display for web designers
Until now I have been testing my sites at different resolutions by changing the res in the display settings. I have now added my old 14” monitor as a second display, with the plan being to have it set at 600 x 800 to save all the switching. But when I look at sites that appeared fine on my main monitor when it was set at 600 x 800 they appear significantly too big on this second display, and cause scrollbars where there shouldn’t be scrollbars
Anyone know what I’m doing wrong?

Thanks for your reply
That display is set at 60 Hertz, which I am pretty sure is correct for that monitor
I also have another couple of problems
When I start my computer the refresh rate for my primary monitor gets set to 60 Hertz, when it should be 85.
And even though the resolution for my primary monitor is still 1024 x 768, it looks like the resolution is different; I can fit one more icon vertically on the desktop. Obviously for designing websites I’d like to know what my resolution is.
