    Wasn't this thread about building a Enterprise PHP Application Skeleton? Not a bad idea to bounce around. For example:

    - Pros and cons of the various types of frameworks
    - Directory structures for different types of frameworks
    - List the support class libraries that at minimum each framework type needs

    Ummm ... what will the application do? The choice of framework usually revolves around the task the app is expected to perform. No point forcing a square peg in a round hole, ultimatery nipping off its corners and turning into an octagon to fit better

    My idea for such an application is a generic CMS + eComm solution. I could put forth the details here if you wish. I know Mamcom's already there, but I do have a couple of unique ideas for this one.
