Off-topic question: Where in the world is football season starting in a month? It's over here in the US once the Super Bowl has been played, which happens at the end of this month.
Here in NZ it is, so no doubt the same applies for all countries in our hemisphere.

Don't laugh, but I really did this! The questions he was asking seemed to me like he hadn't even opened a PHP book. I was getting pretty peeved at what he was asking, so I gave him the link to Kevin Yank's book.

Thanks for that info. I notice that the guy seems to be from Canada though - at least his email domain name is shaw.ca. I thought the Canucks had the same football season as us Americans. Oh, well. Still interesting to know that it's almost starting for the Kiwis.

I never read a php book, and right now I am developing a major open source php script. I'm not kidding, if you study these forums and php.net, along with some hard work and probably a few frustrated rages, you can become a php expert.

Uh-oh, that means he might stumble on the forums and he might stumble on this post and then it would be horribly, horribly awkward in here! Egad.

People are ruthless, you take one step towards them, they take 10 towards you...to annoy you mostly.
