Angry How much fresh SPAM do you get?

Approximately 30 of my 35 or 40 daily emails have the subject line, "f_r_e_e cialis (super viagra)". AHH! I have a spam marker, but it doesn't actually block this crud. Just wondering, how much spam do you guys get daily?

Also, what program to you use to block/filter through spam? I need to download something better.

I average about 700 emails a day. On an average day 15 of those are spam. Used to get a lot more, close to 800 spam messages a day when I had an @sitepoint.com email address. Since retiring from the administrator here and leaving that email address behind and not having my other 15 POP3 addresses published anywhere it has been dramatically reduced.

I probably wouldn't get any at all if I were willing to kill one particular email address of mine. I've registered too much software and such with that addy, and it would be a PITA if I got rid of it. That email account has been exposed for a long time via the archives for this one mailing list I'm on. The list owner got some spam filtering software for his server recently, which has dramatically cut down on the amount of spam I get from that account, but it's still way too much.

No spam here... actually, that's not entirely true. Up until 3 months ago or so, I never received spam (with 10 e-mails a day coming in). Now it's more like, 25 e-mails a day, and 1 or 2 bits of spam.. but thunderbird filters the spam, so I don't actually have to look at it or hit delete.

0 - 2 spam emails a day. Don't use any blocker, as there isn't a need for one.

You need higher number ranges before I can vote. Thank goodness filters divert 95% of it for me.
