    Building A site

hi, i am thinking of making a site, i sued to make urban music sites, but sooned discovered not much revenue could be made and the market was already full, so now i am a bit older (17) i want to make a site that will be popular but will still interest me, i like technology, soccer and music and graphics,

I was thinking of making an review/feature site for audio/video jukeboxes, anyone got any ideas of that else is popular and could gain lots of traffic

sorry if this is in the wrong place

You could make one of DVD's or Movie reviews, those are real popular, but with any new project it takes time to build up...good luck

sounds like a decent idea, would have to look into it more but only problem is i would have to rigth reviews for at least 100's but 1000's would be better, would it be possible to source reviews from other editors and creat a database or would i have to ask them for direct permission

Or why not opt for a niche and create a specialist review site that focuses on a genre of music or film you're most interested in. That'll be easier to build up than a general review site and it could potentially bring in more visitors too.

Many companies gladly donate their product to get them reviewed. If you're making a movie site you could ask some if they were willing to give away a DVD for an online article. I know people who do so.

Tell them that the site is still being built and you want something to start with bla bla... Do sound serious, of course Or to reduce the risk of being rejected invest a few bucks by renting DVD's and write a few articles (maybe together with a friend) before sending out requests.

If everythings works out fine and successful, you're soon going to receive DVD's regularly, with companies begging for a review!

This idea applies to many other areas, not just movies.
