I've been using outlook 2000 for a few months now, and for the last 2 weeks, all email from a certain friend have been coming to me blank, with no subject.
It doesn't happen with messages from anyone else, just from him.. is there anything you can think of that might be causing this? Help is VERY much appreciated! thanks

Is your friend including a subject?
yes, when it's sent there is a subject and message body.. but when it gets to me there's no subject and no message... it appears totally blank
he's not just playing around either, i've made sure of that already
Did you upgrade to IE 6's beta? I've heard similar problems with Outlook because of this.
As a matter of fact I did recently upgrade to ie6.0 beta... that's probably what did it come to think of it
any fixes you know of? Or any new builds i can download?

As far as I am aware there is no fix for this problem as yet, I am also suffering from this and so I am desperately waiting for a patch.
The problem occurs when the email arrives in US-ASCII format, you can still see the sender, subject etc. by looking at the message source but it is still very inconvenient.

I guess we all learned a lesson from this:
If you downloaded a beta, you can expect problems, so you took the risk and payed for it.
Well, it was a tradeoff of one intolerable problem to another that was still very annoying but has better alternatives. It was worth it, I don't think there's a person here who would surf for very long when their browser literally crashed every minute or two.
I'm going to try Eudora to replace Outlook2000 until I can find my Office set. I did take a risk, just didn't connect the two things until someone mentioned it.. wish me luck with Eudora.
