    uploading pdfs

Can someone point me to some simple tutorials. I need to allow users to upload pdf's(and only pdfs) and then to open and/or delete them after they are uploaded. I'm using php with a postgresql database.

Maybe use the uploader script? It runs off a flatfile database and has lots of features.

Just so I don't get ahead of myself here, someone let me know if this is easily done. I need to have a table that stores a simple note and a date. Then I need the user to upload a pdf file that the note will pertain to. So, I imagine the system would have to rename the pdf file to the record id of the note record. Then when users are reading all the notes I need them to be able to open up the pdfs. I imagine storing the pdfs outside of the database would be best for database size and performance. Is there anything wrong with my planned setup?
