    WYSIWYG editor problems

    Hi!

I work at a company developing a CMS. The CMS uses a WYSIWYG editor that uses contentEditable. I has worked for many hundred clients in the last couple of years. Then suddenly one of our clients is unable to paste anything into the editor. It just blinks when they try to paste. They don't get any error messages.

    We have checked the following:

    - JavaScript is turned on
    - everything else in the editor works

Any idea what might cause this error? Could it be a script blocker program that prevents pasting?

    Suggestions are very welcome.

They use IE 6.0, but with a different build number than we do. I've found a knowledge base article that could be the source of the problem, as the editor is in an IFRAME.

That would involve a lot of work. I believe some of the advanced features are based on the editor being in an IFRAME.
