Can't start Postgre on Linux

I'm running Fedora Core 3 and PostgreSQL 7.4.6. When I try to run initdb, it fails. Here's the output for the command "initdb -d -D my/path":

Any idea why? The main problem is that initdb doesn't say anything about the error.

Just a guess and I am not sure, but doesnt FC come with SELinux pre-installed? It may not let it write to that directory because of its security. Thats just a guess though. I dont really know.

Yes, that's what I found out too. But it doesn't make much sense, since it was working before. Apparently it has something to do with the new version of PostgreSQL: 7.4.6-1.FC3.2. I saw on other forums that the only way to solve this problem is to update SELinx; since I don't have administrative privileges, I'm just gonna have to wait .

Does anyone has any idea?
