    JS menu...need it extended vertically.

I have a JS menu I am developing. It is fed from config.js. The problem is that there are 10 meus topics but some are too long causing the user to have to scroll over to see all of them. (It is a horizontal menu.)
Ex. |Carnival Games | Event Questions|. They are too long.

I want to make them be:
    |Carniva | Event |
    | Games | Questions|

so they dont take up so much space. I dont know how to do that. I can specify the horizontal length but not the vertical. Can anyone help?

If you put the options in a div with style="overflow:auto;" scroll bars will appear if the content exceeds the specified height

see the links (Compact Menu) menu on
    http://www.vicsjavascripts.org.uk

the page height can also be a problem with vertical menus in which case the top position of the submenu must be controlled for it to remain in view.

again there are examples on the site above
