Form inputs and hyperlinks

Hello,

I am new to Java Script and would appreciate anyone's help.

I need to design a form input box where customers would enter a 10 digit ID number string. Depending on which string they enter, they would be directed to the appropriate html page for that ID number. There would ultimately be about 8 different pages that would be linked to the various number strings entered.

Depending on which string they enter, they would be directed to the appropriate html page for that ID number.

submit the form on the onblur event of the text box.and then check the ID using server-side scripting. Then re-direct it app.
