Did you get anything nice for Christmas?

My wife got me an EVH model MXR Phase 90 for Christmas. It's the most gorgeous object in the whole wide world. Did you get anything you want to tell everyone about?

I got a rather nice suit, shirt and tie which I'm pleased with!

Also some books and DVDs I've been after for a while.

And a bottle of Jack Daniel's whiskey

I made out like a bandit - pajama pants, a rice cooker (not for long, though) and a game cube. It's been a holly jolly Christmas.

Yeah, I finally got an XBOX. It has multiple controllers, gameshark utility, advanced AV connection and a few other goodies. Also got "Fable" and "Knights of the Old Republic" with it. Would have gotten Halo 2 but they were already sold out when my wife went shopping. Seems she got one of the last consoles in town as well with most stores being sold out. I also got "Return of the King Collectors Edition" and "Half-Life 2", "LOTR: The Battle for Middle Earth", "Soul Caliber 2", strategy guides and wireless controllers for my PS2. Other than that my wife and I bought new baking dishes, serving dishes, pots and pans for the kitchen with about $1000.00 as well as some new linens for the bedrooms. She got a bunch of new clothes, some role-playing books she asked for, 2 copies of "Sims 2" and "City of Heroes" w/ two months of playing time. Plus I gave her a diamond and peridot necklace with matching earrings. The kids all got Gameboys and games except my oldest who got a programmable robot.

My brother got a Madden football game for Xbox. Only problem-- he doesnt have an Xbox!

The family combined got 2 DVD/VCR setups so we dont need a million wires, etc to set up our TVs. I know, you dont anyway but at my house you do. Our TVs are screwed up. Anyway, so one of my sisters got our old VCR and my other sister got our old DVD player.

I received some nice sweaters (I don't care much about clothes, but you can never have too many sweaters), a Wacom Graphire, and Microsoft Flight Simulator.

Frankly, I'll be using the sweaters and the Graphire most often, but Flight Simulator is amazing.

I got a battery charger and AA batteries for my camera, blue dress shirt, and a couple nice ties. Oh, and Toby Keith's Greatest Hits 2. Everything else was camping gear pretty much.

I got a new phone for my desk, Grand Theft Auto San Andreas (PS2), Final Fantasy I+II: Dawn of Souls (GBA), NHL 2005 (XBox), a new PC controller, some DVD+Rs, some DVD movies (Kill Bill, The Whole Ten Yards), a new sweater, some kitchenware and lots of glassware and bar supplies.

I got my fiancée a sweater, some pyjamas, some CDs, a couple of DVDs (Harry Potter 3, Elf), some games (Paper Mario, Donkey Kong Country 2), lots of chocolate and, of course, her ring.

The kitten got a new scratching post, a few toys, and lots of kitty treats.
