    Parse Error

I am getting the following error
Parse error: parse error, unexpected $ on line 265

But my script has only 264 lines!

Can you tell what are the normal syntax errors that cause this?

This says that the PHP parser has got to the end of the file and has encountered some kind of parse error.

Normally this is caused by a missing closing brace somewhere in the code. If you indent your code in a sensible manner, it should be relatively easy to find.

    Solved

Thanks. I found the error. it was a missing brace. It was easy to find since the code was indented.
