Can I download radion file and listen to it later

I want to listen to the radio on the computer, but I want to download the multimedia files(story, news, etc.) at first, then I can listen to them later, some radio web sites only provide stream files which can't be saved on the hard drive, which web sites offer files download so users can listen later? Thanks for help!

There is software available that will help you record audio streams to disk so you can replay them later. This isn't quite what you were asking for, but might help.

NetTransport allows you to record streaming multimedia (video or audio) to a file on your hard disk.

It works with a variety of formats including Microsoft and Real formats. You copy and paste the URI of the feed into it and it will start downloading and saving to your computer. Some online streaming sites will make it hard for you to find the URI of the feed - but most players have a "Clip Info" or similar feature to let you find this. Copy this into NetTransport.
