@saul: im not fed up with it at all, i just wish it would snow big time not these icy frosted over dangerous roads thats all, i want snow!!! we have slight dustings off and on that just freeze over into frost but theres not enough where I am to get excited over

Saul, yes, under freezing temps. -3ºC (this night) is where the fruit and trees get damaged. We will have some colder nights coming up this weekend. The farmers are spraying their crops and trees with water to encase them in ice, that keeps the temps around 0º and the damage lower.

The water of the Gulf of Mexico is right now down to 7ºC, so the Gulf stream (which originates in the Gulf of Mexico), is quite low in temp. Consequently Europe will be held in the grip of winter for some tome to come now.
