^ has a point
Off Topic:
... but, the dictionary says: An appliance or utensil for cooking food. In which case, calling cook a cooker, is the same as calling driver a car. In my mind it's funny.
Saul

^ dictionary -- fictionary
Off Topic:
no, it is the verb. To drive the car, makes you the driver of the car. To cook (verb)with the cooker (often pressure cooker or iron cooker), you are the cooker of the food in the cooker. It is confusing, because it is the same word. If the car would not be a car, but instead a driver, than the driver would drive the driver. Confused still?
^ in dictionary she trusts not
Off Topic:
No, it is not confusing. It is funny.![]()

^ thinks cooker means a person who cooks
Edit:
Whoops, ^ is too fast.
Off Topic:
I honestly have never heard it in slang, anywhere. One who cooks is a cook, or a chef like in restaurants. But cooker?...I think that would sound funny to anyone.
^ thinks that which is spoken by country people is English...it's their own little language![]()
