    Alternatives to Flip4Mac?

Apparently Flip4Mac is no longer free.

    Chalk one up for Capitalism!

Does anyone know of any open-source alternatives/work-arounds? *sigh*

    Thanks,

    Debbie

You mean it's not worth $5.95? You'd be hard pressed to buy two cups of coffee for the equivalent here. Seems like a bargain to me.

By open-source, do you actually mean "free-of-charge", because they're not the same thing.
Don't serve your porridge and then go out for a walk.

$5.95 may be a bargain, but having to upgrade every year turns into a lot more money.

The bigger issue is having Capitalists constantly intruding into my life.

I paid $30-$40 for SnagIt, and those morons spam me constantly trying to get *more* money out of me.

Open-Source implies "free" in almost any circle I know...
