    any good free tools for building queries?

    I'm looking for something like query builder in MS Access but for MySQL. Any ideas are much appreciated!

    Have you tried the official MySQL Query Browser? I'm not sure if it's what you're looking for, but might be worth a try...

    MyBuilder might be worth looking at.

    MySQLBuilder provides visual interface for building queries. This interface includes visual representation of the database objects involved in a query such as tables, views and subqueries and joins between them. It offers an ability to adjust selection list, criteria, joins, Groups, group criteria, sorting list.

    why do you want an SQL builder? Creating SQL is always fun(as far as I'm concerned) & its not that hard.

    Different people find different ways to work more productive for them.

    I personally build my queries by hand, but I wouldn't call it fun most of the time.

    Tools are there to make life easier for those that want to use them.
