    SSI or php ? for simple fix

    hi friends,

    I have a fairly simple issue, for somebody who knows some ssi or php I am just not good or experiences with programming at all.. I tried to read and figure it out for myself, but i figured i would try here too.

    ok, my web-site www.brasslesachtal.com has a news section on every single page. with the same content! well, its really annoying to update on every single page, so I wanted to make an external file or something where i can update ones, and then on all the pages include that external page.. well, thats at least how i think it works! Maybe there is even something easier. So, how can i pull pieces of text (i dont need background or anything, and i am not sure if i want to pull a whole .html file.. ) into the news section of every page on brasslesachtal.com

    thanks for reading and for your help,
    regards,
    florian

    well, for what you want, i would make each page .php and then wherever you want the news to appear, put:
    PHP Code:
    <?php
    include('newsfile.php');
    ?>
    and it will insert newsfile.php into the page...

    Should be fairly simple:
    PHP Code:
    <div class="m12" style="padding-left:20pt;padding-right:1pt;padding-top:18pt">
                  <br />
                    <br /><? include('news.txt'); ?>
