    include path problems

    I'm jsut trying to work though Harry's book and I'm running into problems with my include path. I'm running WinXP and I'm using Apache2.

    Here are the errors I'm getting when I try to include a file:

    Warning: main(Database/MySQL.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in C:\Program Files\Apache Group\Apache2\htdocs\PHPandMySQL\3.php on line 3

    Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required 'Database/MySQL.php' (include_path='.;c:\php4\pear') in C:\Program Files\Apache Group\Apache2\htdocs\PHPandMySQL\3.php on line 3

    And here is what I've got in my c:/php/php.ini file:

    ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;
    ; Paths and Directories ;
    ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;

    ; UNIX: "/path1:/path2"
    ;include_path = ".:/php/includes"
    ;
    ; Windows: "\path1;\path2"
    include_path=".;c:\php\includes;c:\php\pear;"

    Is it possible that there is some other config settings lurking somewhere that are overriding what I've put in my c:/php/php.ini?

    OK, it turns out that c:/php is not right place to put your php.ini file. I moved it to c:/windows and now it is working. I could have sworn I read that it was supposed to go in the base install dir of php. Anyway, it's working now.
