    Taking out PHP

Can you take php out of a site and just have it running off of html.

The mysql is giving me alot of problems and I think it would be easier for me to just get rid of PHP.

    Thanks in advance.

I am using it for a dating site and I cancelled my hosting plan to go with another, I uploaded my files using filezilla and now i am getting this

    Not Found
The requested URL /index.php was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
    Apache/1.3.31 Server at www.passionatehearts.net Port 80

    Thanks for the help.
    Thanks In Advance

Looks like the http://www.passionatehearts.net/ server is badly set up. The domain should point to the httpdocs folder, not the one above that.

Removing php isn't going to help, the server is still going to be set up badly...

    Ya, it's a hosting problem.
If you're familiar with Apache and .htaccess you can probably remedy the situation.
If not I'd find another host again.

Yep - ask them to fix it, or for your money back.
