Question PHPStartup fails to load php_mysql.dll

    Hi,
just starting to work through "Build your own Database Driven Website ... 3rd edn". Loaded Apache 1.3.33, php 5.0.2 and already had MySQL 4.0.13 loaded and running on Windows XP Home SP1. After doing the mods as per pp 6-10 of Chap 1 and restarting apache i get the PHP Warning box:
"PHPStartup: Unable to load dynamic library "c:\php\ext\php_mysql.dll". The specified procedure could not be found.
However the file does exist in the named path.
Meanwhile the simple today.php script later in Chap 1 does work.
    Will I have a problem with PHP/MySQL?
    Cheers,
    NickR.

    yes,
it appears that PHP could be using a procedure i load, note it says procedure not found, not file not found..

Check if you have removed a link from .conf file or anything like that, if all hell failes reinstall PHP

    You must copy...

You gotta copy a couple files to different places. Some to the Windows Directory I am sure.

That has stopped the error message, thanks.
