    Installing PHP

    Hello,

I purchased a new computer this week and have been trying to install PHP onto it.

I'm running Win XP, and I've downloaded Apache and got it working, but when I try to run a php file, I get this message:

    The page cannot be found

The page you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Please try the following:

If you typed the page address in the Address bar, make sure that it is spelled correctly.

Open the new-computer-04 home page, and then look for links to the information you want.
Click the Back button to try another link.
Click Search to look for information on the Internet.

    Internet Explorer

I've made a few changes to httpd.conf in Apache, but something obviously didn't work.

I added the following lines of code:

    ScriptAlias /php4/ "C:/php4/"

    AddType application/x-httpd-php .php .phtml
    AddType application/x-httpd-php-source .phps

    Action application/x-httpd-php /php4/php.exe

    Any advice? Thanks,

    Pavel

LOL, nevermind. Just forgot to restart Apache Server after I made the changes. Thanks for viewing the post though.
