    Hi there.

Has anybody here implemented a Content-Length http response in their PHP based pages?

Is there an easy way of doing it? I see that sitepointforums sends a content-length response, but most PHP-based sites do not.

    Thanks,
    mmj

Wait a minute - I've just found the output buffering functions at http://www.php.net/manual/en/ref.outcontrol.php

I'm thinking of using these - so I can buffer output, then count how much is in the buffer, then send the header, then flush the buffer.

Is this a sensible thing to do? Sorry for all these questions.
