SEO's fantastic for content sites about things that people'll search for.

Affiliations with sites, and links in forum sigs work great for those too, but also help everything else.

I've found that joining communities related to my websites and spending a few months joining in, making meaningful posts and trying to be a generally nice bloke in the forums has driven a lot of traffic to my sites, which are linked to in my signature.

We seem to be getting max 100 visitors per day after some hard work. Not sure what will happen after we start biz. Our hope=goal is to attract millions of visitors every month eventually.

Being the little guy in a feild of so many hurts when you dont have the money to spend on such things as Adwords, SEO help.

People like myself I am sure have tried traffic sites , its always non related traffic. I would like to know how can anyone starting off get anywhere when you have the top dogs basically leaving you with little if nothing to chose from.

Sure word of mouth is ok, but what if you dont know many people. DO you sit in chat rooms and spam the url of your site.

I am just frustrated of being stuck at the bottom and out of the free trials to get a little bit of help getting my site out the. The only link to my site comes from here. So I guess I did alright buy gettin gsome help.

Like the old saying goes money talks. And if you donr have it to spend then you are not gonna get it. Takes money to make money as they say. Wheres a website Robin Hood when you need one. Give the little people a chance in this business we are just starting out but we have alot to say.

    Thanks for listening
    Thanks In Advance

I am JUST starting out, and as such couldn't tell you what WILL be the best. But I know one thing. When I was looking for hosting, I didn't google it, or do any search, I asked around. Probably to some of you guys in pm's or email. So word of mouth will win my hosting $$.

As far as my business, I am just now getting a site together and getting a real "first customer" etc.. I got that customer by (don't laugh) being forward enough to just ask.. "Hey this is a nice place, but I don't see a web address.. Are you all online?" period. I have already gotten calls from other businesses (all local) wanting to know what my limits are right now, etc. All this before I get business cards to pass out at the trade shows/Commerce meetings, or a visible web presence myself. If you are starting out, the best customer is the happy customer. I originally was going to go with (not telling) hosting company, but when I asked around I got all negative feedback. Are they bad? Who knows, but they did some people I know/respect pretty dirty and now they won't get ANY biz from me, or any referrals from me.

I have to say word of mouth, sometimes your own, is the best advertising.

Being cool with clients and treating them well has helped me the most. Help you client and they will help you. On top of that doing quality work helps a lot too.

    Cool Search Engine Optimization Services

I heard roboranking.com saved a online casinos rankings. I have contacted them on the different Search Engine Optimization services they offer. Guess what happened? They offered to help rank my website free of charge...until I had atleast 20 top 1 - 10 rankings in all major search engines.

So if you have absolutley no budget or a very low budget and need search engine optimization services just go to www.RoboRanking.com. Tell them that Charles from letstalk.com sent you.

    Laterz!

For me it is really "word of mouth" or bust.
Also got to have a great website that puts your best foot forward and have your contact info (incl. your website address) in your email signatures.

I was thinking about adwords. I did not know that you could put a limit on spending. Thanks. I make so little on affiliate commissions though I am still hesitant to try..

    my #1

I use an online service that is free which is my #1 choice.

For me this ranks above SEO, bulk traffic, opt in lists and anything else.

I've been able to grow my online sites to great extremes where I literally have to hire help now.

The program is only by invite because they want to keep out spammers so if anyone is interested send me an email (with your address), and i'll send you an invite..
