    Layout shift in IE 6

    Hello everyone

    This is my first attempt at a 100% CSS layout.

    http://www.superparanoid.com

    I was going fairly well until I hit this strange IE bug.

    When ever I hover over the links in the right column of my page the whole layout shifts in IE 6.

    I don't know where to start debugging

    Any help would be much appreciated

    Thanks

    IE 6.0.2800.1106 SP1, didn't have the SHIFT you mentioned
    btw: check your padding or margin of right column link element

    Hi,

    The problem is caused by ie not liking elements defined by margins alone. Where there are no specific dimensions such as height or width then ie looses its way

    You need to use one of the "layout" hacks such height:1%.

    Code:
     #inner_wrap {
     margin-left:1%;
     margin-right:1%;
     margin-bottom:1%;
     }
    /* commented backslash hack v2 \*/
    * html #inner_wrap {height:1%;}
    /* end hack */
