to summarize the disadvantage of Firefox

    Hello, eyerybody.

As we known , the new browser Firefox was born weeks ago. In my mind it's a wonderful thing .At least I hate IE ,hate monopolization. I will always support Mozillar like ...I support Netscape years ago.

But nothing is perfect . While using this browser , I found sth. annoying. coz of the W3C standard . Some pages will be shown incorrectly in Firefox. Also I found sometimes Firefox couldn't access some sites while the sites themselves were okay.Just sometimes

In addition , FF occupy too much system resouces, caused the other program to slow down~~

Anyway , If u're using FF, u're lovin it .... point out it's disadvantage..

    come on guys.

I think that depends on the sites you go to. Most of the sites I visit are just fine in Firefox, even if they aren't valid according to the W3C's HTML standards. Even my online banking works in FF.

You could press alt+s to submit forms in phpBB and vBulletin boards.

Every Browser has disadvantages. I'm more worried about someone hacking into my computer through spyware or downloading a malicious virus, than Ctrl+Enter not working.

yeah, damn W3C standards always getting in the way, eh...

Some pages will be shown incorrectly in Firefox. Also I found sometimes Firefox couldn't access some sites while the sites themselves were okay.
define "were okay". just "it looked okay in IE, so the sites were okay"? were they valid (x)html? did they use oodles of IE-specific javascript or jscript? completely proprietary fantasy HTML elements?
i hope you're not one of those advocating that FF should behave more like IE when rendering crappy content. the onus is on web developers to create valid sites, not on the browser to still show nice pages when the underlying markup is crud.

In addition , FF occupy too much system resouces, caused the other program to slow down
that, at least, is true. but it's getting better. should have seen some of the beta builds...
