I'm tearing my hair out over this. I'm using the Atomz.com free search service on my site. But the darn thing doesn't seem to be indexing all of my pages--I have some great content pages that are being totally missed. I've looked on the index log and the pages have been crawled. But when I then search on words that are used in those pages, I get no results or I get the totally wrong pages. Can anyone help me?? It's not the index cache, either...I wipe that every time, to force the Atomz robot to re-index the whole site.

Do you have more than 500 pages? If so, the Atomz.com indexer seems to miss some out at random to get you down to the 500 limit.

Not sure about this as it's never happened to me, anyone?

very weird! i use atomz from a year now and have never got this kind of problem... let's see... if you have not surpassed the 500 pages mark, i would check you are not using weird <noindex> or <nofollow> tags, and that there are no HTML errors in your pages. If your HTML contains basic structure errors, Atomz will have trouble following or reaching your links. Other than that, i have no idea!

I figured this out, with the help of Atomz support. One of the things that I was including through SSI (HTML for a Flash movie) had <html> and <head> tags defined in it, which created a duplicate set and thus confused the Atomz engine.
