    Unhappy Search Engine

Im trying to start a search engine off, but of course im having problems.

All of the site is mySQL run and websites need to be enetered into the database by a user at the moment. Is there any software or automation script that will add websites for me? like a bot?

    this is my current model:

    http://www.heenix.com/search2

Its not fully working yet and needs more than 7 websites in it (LOL!)

    Any ideas?

What sort of search engine are you trying to create? Are you trying to have a central search engine so that somebody can type in "unified modeling language" or whatever, and have it search all 7 websites for those keywords?

If the guy Mark is talking about is me, than my search engine thing wont be of any help i dont believe. It just looks through single columns in a database for keywords (and breaks up the input into chunks if nothing is found), and not at entire websites.

Does it search a certian number of defined sites set by you, or just the internet in general?
