experience w/ merchant accounts sold on ebay?

There are at least two vendors selling merchant accounts on
    ebay.

Seller "merchantgm" is MerchantUSA, a part of Acies:
    http://stores.ebay.com/Merchant-USA_...Card-Terminals
    http://merchantusa.net
    http://www.aciesinc.com/solutions_online.asp
They offer 1.98% key-in (internet) and $6.99/month statement.
No indication of gateway. $50 rebate for application.
    No minimum.

    Seller "merchantservicesinc" is also there:
    http://stores.ebay.com/Merchant-Services
Just judging by the name, this may be the same as
    Merchant Services Inc.:
    http://merchantservices.com
    http://www.msihq.com/
    They offer %1.99 + $.19, $9.99/month statement, $50 rebate,
no termination fees, no minimum, $14.99/month authorize.net

Has anyone used them or have other knowledge of them?
Does anyone know if mechantservicesinc is the same as MSI
    (or just a coincidental name)?

These rates are substantially better than I've seen elsewhere.
I assume there is a catch, I just wonder what it is....

Just make sure you look for fine print, additional fees, service charges, etc. If it sounds too good to be true...

We've checked out both of these ebayers (as anyone should check out the competition). merchantservicesinc seems to be legit. Knowledgeable people answered their emails and the phone. They have an excellent feedback rating, use securetrade, and are a powerseller (which requires certain high standards be met). They seem to put all of the details in their auction so if they're hiding anything I'm not sure what it can be. My guess is that they're simply out to increase the size of their portfolio. (If you look way back in their feedback you'll see me in there twice checking them out ).

merchantgm seems to be trying to copy merchantservicesinc. Their auctions literally are a copy of merchantservicesinc. They're probably violating their copyrights. Our contact with them as been less then impressive. If you look at their feedback you can see they just enterred the merchant account biz on ebay so the book is open on them. We haven't purchased anything from them yet so I can't give as good detail as merchantservicesinc.

MSI Merchant Services loves to throw their name on everything they do. I do not think merchantservicesinc is MSI.
