Affiliate Programs stink--or is that AdSense?

I've been told by some that Affiliate Programs don't make any money and to stick with AdSense. Others say that Affiliate Programs are the only way to make real money on the internet.

I have more experience with AdSense than affiliate programs, so I wanted to get your opinions about which is true and which is not--if either.

I make much more money with Adsense, but you can use both adsense and Affiliate Programs.

It really depends on the kind of website you're running. I've personally not had a whole lot of success with affiliate programs on my sites, but I know others who have. I think it's just a matter of how much effort goes into the site, really.

I agree. And it also depends on the particular affiliation and on how much you expect it to make. I think that with affiliations you have to work a little bit harder to find the right one.
